Let’s Simplify Culture
Things we don’t need and would do just fine without:
Capital letters (superfluous)
Fractions (we have decimals)
Gendered pronouns (most languages don’t have them and people survive just fine)
The letter q (we can us kw- . Even “cue” is spelled without one)
The letter x ( we can use -eks, and xylophone should be using a z)
(sorry, Scrabble players)
Chemical toxins in food and packaging that will eventually be banned anyway, so why subject generations to them first?
Billionaires (a cliché, I know, but such a worthless drain on our resources)
Money (the root of all evil; all goods and services should be freely exchanged, people should contribute to society for free, and robots can do the jobs humans don’t want)
War (obviously)
Social heirarchy (nobody should be ordering anyone around)
The Military (see War, above)
Pay inequities (if we’re going to have a monetary system, everyone should be paid the same for the same amount of work)
“Cease and desist” (redundant; choose one)
“Growth and development” (redundant; choose one)
“Rest and relaxation” (redundant; choose one)
24-hour TV (The same 12 hours of programming should repeat for people on opposite work schedules)
24-hour internet (users should have to choose which 12 hours a day to stay connected)
The US electoral college (real democracy — let’s give it a spin)
